MON AVIS SUR AVA DE LEA MYSIUS (Lumineux mais austère)

AVA de Léa Mysius est un Drame français présenté au Festival de Cannes à la Semaine de la Critique ou elle a remporté le Prix SCAD;

SynopsisAva, 13 ans, est en vacances au bord de l'océan quand elle apprend qu'elle va perdre la vue plus vite que prévu. Sa mère décide de faire comme si de rien n’était pour passer le plus bel été de leur vie. Ava affronte le problème à sa manière. Elle vole un grand chien noir qui appartient à un jeune homme en fuite…

Avant tout de parler de la qualité du film, il est étonnant vu la crudité des propos et de la nudité très présente, que celui-ci ne soit pas interdit au moins de 12 ans, sans faire de la pudibonderie.

Quand on regarde Ava , on est totalement acquis que le film malgré tout lorgne du côté de la vie d'Adèle et du cinéma de Kechiche, l'actrice principale d'Ava ressemblant étrangement à celle de la vie d'Adèle, hasard ou marketing ?

En dehors de cela, le film est très brut, sans fard et direct dans ses propos et sa façon de filmé, le film me fait penser par son énergie à A nos Amours de Maurice Pialat, est que la jeune héroïne d'Ava suivra al carrière de Sandrine Bonnaire, on verra, mais aujourd'hui les jeunes acteurs et actrices sont broyés par le système

Cette jeune fille qui est atteinte de rétinite pigmentaire s'ennuie dans ce monde pas fait pour les ados, où les adultes s'amusent entre eux, et laisse leurs gamins au bord de la solitude, et quand on a un problème de santé qui va l'amener à perdre la vue à court terme, c'est pas la joie tous les jours, mais heureusement elle va rencontrer un être qui va changer son comportement , un grand chien noir, qu'elle a piqué à jeune probablement migrants qui vit sur la plage entre blockhaus et descente de la gendarmerie, malgré tout les deux jeunes gens vont se rapprocher, et jouer sur cette plage à Bonnie & Clyde des plages agressant les touristes nudistes qui erre  sur celle-ci.

La réalisatrice va peut-être en faire trop, de mélanger les genres, un bromance, un road-movie un thriller, un film de voyous et même du sexe à foison si on peut dire, ce qui fait qu'on s'y perd un peu.

La réalisatrice ne prend pas de gants non plus (et pas de slip) avec ses personnages, souvent nus et de très près, avec des scènes surréalistes ou la mère d'Ava baise avec un beau black rencontrer sur la plage devant des très jeunes enfants circonspects. Il y a aussi un côté voyeur dans ces scènes qui n'apporte pas grand chose à l'histoire.

Mais le film retient surtout par la liberté de ton et est complètement lumineux grâce à sa mise en scène et sa mise en image.

Le film bien sûr qui est un peu bancal, tient surtout par la performance de la jeune actrice Noée Abita qui effectue ses premiers pas et qui va être la grande favorite dans la catégorie Meilleur Jeune Espoir Féminin. Mais j'ai bien aimé le jeune migrant joué par Juan Cano qui fait lui aussi ses débuts.

A l'arrivée un film avec beaucoup de charme, mais avec quelques scènes plus qu'inutiles, surtout que la réalisatrice présente la jeune Ava comme avoir 13 ans.

OSCARS 2018: 774 nouveaux membres et votants invités
L'Académie des Oscars fait ce qu'elle peut pour se défaire de son étiquette de "club des vieux votants blancs" - qui ne lèvent un œil pratiquement que pour les films parlant aux vieux votants blancs. Au-delà de ses qualités cinématographiques, la victoire de Moonlight en début d'année, au héros homosexuel et noir, est-elle le signe d'une académie un tout petit peu plus ouverte et curieuse que par le passé ?
L'Académie a en tout cas invité un nombre record de nouveaux membres et votants: 774 personnalités ont été conviées cette année. Chaque année, à la fin du mois de juin, est communiquée la liste des nouveaux membres et votants. En 2015, 271 artistes ont été invités. En 2016, ce sont 322 artistes qui ont été conviés. En 2017, ce sont 683 nouveaux membres qui ont intégré l'Académie.
Parmi les "promus": les acteurs Aishwarya Rai, Monica Bellucci, Maggie Cheung, Adam Driver, Fan Bingbing, Elle Fanning, Golshifteh Farahani, Anna Faris, Gal Gadot, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Lou Ferrigno (!), Jon Hamm, Rinko Kikuchi, Janelle Monáe, Viggo Mortensen, Amy Poehler, Chris Pratt, Zachary Quinto, Kristen Stewart, Omar Sy ou encore Betty White (qui aura attendu 95 ans avant d'être incluse !), les réalisateurs Emmanuelle Bercot, Pedro Costa, Lav Diaz, Ildikó Enyedi, Amat Escalante, Jessica Hausner, Ann Hui, Alejandro Jodorowsky, Kim Ki-Duk, Kleber Mendonça Filho ou encore Brillante Mendoza, les musiciens Nick Cave, Lisa Gerrard ou Mica Levi, entre (beaucoup) d'autres.
